Truth is like tea. If you pour tea into a square container it will be square, if you pour the same tea into a nice round tea cup it will be round. But it will still be tea. So if you want to tell a lie shaped like a tea cup, you start with some truth shaped like a tea cup that supports your cause. Then you build on it with "little white lies" and nothing is considered deceit anymore.
