At Play

Thailand comes to Paris in the form of a cute village down the street from us, in front of Saint Sulpice Church. Rob & I spent an afternoon exploring the sights and smells of Thai Village.

We saw some Thai dancers. Many restaurants were present advertising their location in Paris.
We picked up some curry sauce and had a great romantic dinner at home.

The first three tables we gave away 300 products! Bibles, The Jesus Film, a commentary on Romans. Each with a cute little "contact us" sticker on the back, and a big Smile!

THEY'RE BACK!

It's a bit difficult to access our appartement these days. The students are pouring back into the city (and neighborhood) and the many bookstores on the block have endless long lines.

This one winds all the way down the block effectively taking up all of the sidewalk including our front stoop (indicated by the nice bright orange chinese lanterns - we live above an all-you-can-eat chinese restaurant) :)

Oh yeah, the yellow sign you see in the middle of the photo and littered down the sidewalk, indicate the wait time from that spot till you enter the store. This sign says "5 minutes d'attente" but they're dreaming if they think they'll be in the store that soon.

Rob's Self-Portrait

I don't see any resemblance do you? (the skinny goatee was the only thing that gave it away)

I just found this photo in my summer stash - taken in America of course. What great memories we have.

Rob's Birthday Party

Celebrating Rob's 29th.

I baked a super chocolate cake for the occasion, but this time we will all remember the Pizza Hut Pizza catastrophe more than anything else.

The view from our window.
