Great Choir Ambience

We just love going to choir this year!!! The choir members are really fun, and there's a great choir spirit this year. We even have some high profile concerts coming up!

New Teammates On The Horizon

Pray for smooth transitions as we prepare to share our lives with each other. Her impending move could be as early as this summer! We are so excited. We have the same heart and vision and are becoming real friends.

Goodbyes

The Sunday night worship service is going strong between 90 and 100 attending. New partners have joined the team. Personally, we do more auxiliary work. We have never taken an up-front role in this service, but we support the team and attend with young believers, and plan outreach events. In this photo the team (which recently welcomed an excellent young man into their leadership team) is now commissioning a founding member and partner to launch another worship service full time. Exciting times, full of emotion. Everybody signed the tee-shirt as a souvenir of the four years we worked side-by-side (2007-2010).

Pulpit Swap

We often have pastors and elders visit us to share with our assembly, so it's only fair that we visit someone else once in a while to return the favor. We had the service, an outreach night, and several lovely dinners discussing faith. Here are photos of our Winter Wonderland Week in Germany and Pulpit Swap.

Nichole made peace with snow for the first time in eight years. As a girl I loved the snow and I grew up with the whole family, parents and grandparents, out in the snow building snowmen and designing bigger better sled routes. But after getting snowed in living in central Columbus, Ohio the thought of snow just made me shiver. We couldn't move our car for over a week, every inch of sidewalk was just a solid thick sheet of ice. It felt dangerous, and scary. Now after time has passed and snow has come only in the form of flurries, and that only rarely - I missed the snow and was ready to embrace it again. It's very important to have the right shoes.

Christmas Cookies Arrive In The Mail

Just when our homemade Christmas Cookies were shared until they were gone, we got a package in the mail and SURPRISE! More Christmas Cookies! And just in the nick of time, we had several friends drop by the same day and we served them tea and cookies - Perfect timing!!!
