Reach Out !

We had a group of friends over to share photos and stories of Brussels and plan the next humanitarian service project we might do in Paris.

As the "entrance price" everyone was asked to bring toothbrushes and toothpaste for homeless people.

When we left we sent people out with apples in hand to give to the first beggar they cross on their way home. Always be prepared to be kind when walking through the city.
Later that night our home group met around the diner table and invited the folks from the service project group to stay and join them for diner.

God's Apartment

We just found out that our landlord is moving back into this apartment so we have three months to find a new apartment.

It is going to be hard to find something as spacious and accessible. It's been a real joy to live here! We hope and pray for a great apartment that will also serve as a ministry center, so soul care can continue without much interruption.

We often have 20 or so guests at a time, so it would be nice to have enough room to continue that lifestyle. Plus we take advantage of the fact that we are centrally located to spontaneously invite people to stop by when they're in the neighborhood, so we don't want to compromise accessibility. Pray with us that a miracle would happen!

We were two of the 600,000 people who went to the eiffel tower to watch the fireworks on French Independence Day. 14, July 2008!
